This Privacy Policy explains how the FairyFace app ("FairyFace", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. We built FairyFace to be privacy-friendly: it has no account system and we keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app.

1. Information we do not collect

• We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
• We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or contacts.
• We do not access your photos, location, or health data.

2. Information collected automatically

To operate the app, keep it free, and improve it, our service providers may process limited technical data:

• App content delivery. Watch face images and metadata are loaded from our cloud storage (Google Firebase / Cloudflare R2). Standard server logs (such as IP address and timestamp) may be recorded by these providers to deliver files and prevent abuse.
• Analytics & diagnostics. We may use aggregated, anonymized usage and crash data (e.g. via Firebase) to understand which watch faces are popular and to fix bugs. This is not used to identify you personally.
• Advertising. FairyFace is free and supported by ads (Google AdMob). Ads may use a device advertising identifier to display and measure ads. See "Advertising & tracking" below.
• Purchases. Premium subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Your subscription status is verified on-device via Apple's StoreKit.

3. Advertising & tracking

FairyFace uses Google AdMob to show ads to non-Premium users. On iOS, before any tracking for personalized advertising takes place, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

• If you allow tracking, ads may be personalized using your device's advertising identifier.
• If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.
• You can change your choice any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Going Premium removes ads entirely.

4. How we use information

• To deliver watch faces and install them to your paired Apple Watch.
• To keep the app working, secure, and free of bugs.
• To show ads that help keep FairyFace free.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the app is used so we can improve it.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Limited technical data is processed by the service providers above (Apple, Google/Firebase & AdMob, Cloudflare) solely to provide their services.

6. Data retention

App preferences (such as your appearance and language choices) are stored locally on your device and removed when you delete the app. Technical logs held by our providers are retained according to their own policies.

7. Children

FairyFace is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data, and to control tracking. Because FairyFace has no account, the most direct way to remove locally stored data is to delete the app. For other requests, contact us below.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
